Ponsel Mesure (France) innovates and presents a new digital portable photometer dedicated to the quality controls of water: Photopod.

Developed to answer all the constraints of measure on the ground and in laboratory, the set Odeon-Photopod is a unique offer stemming from an overall of a compact, strong and tight photometer and from a portable device physico-chemical multiparameter.

Odeon is a handheld multiparameter on which you can plug different types of numerical sensors that can measure pH, T°, ORP, conductivity, DO (optical sensor), turbidity, etc.

The Photopod is a device you can plug on the Odeon in order to do photometric analysis.

Thanks to 5 different wavelengths available, there are many parameters that Photopod can measure such as NH4+, NO3-, PO43-, Cl2, Fe, COD. Methods of analysis are easy to realise and do not require a technical background in chemistry. With the "plug and play" technology of the digital sensors, the Odeon-Photopod is a concentration of intelligence and reliability allowing you to answer all your measurement requirements dedicated to the analysis of water: urban residual water and manufacturers, drinking water, boiler room, fish farming, natural waters.

Photopod is a unique innovation born from the meeting of Ponsel and Orchidis. Those companies are both owned by the Aqualabo Group. Ponsel is an expert in numerical technology, the multiparameter Odeon is already one of Ponsel’s best seller. Orchidis manufactures chemical reagents, and a photometer dedicated to water analysis was previously developed by the company. So the Photopod symbolises a real achievement for the two companies putting together their knowledge and experience in order to propose a new concept.

Photopod can be used with Odeon sold previously (under some conditions) so for those who already own an Odeon, it will be possible to have a multiparameter photometer for a very low price. Indeed, because it has no screen and no keyboard, Photopod can be offered at a very attractive price, that also makes it an eco-friendly device.
