The OTT Hydromet stand (No. 19) at WWEM 2018 will be focused on the latest technologies for monitoring hydrology, meteorology and water quality. With an emphasis on continuous monitoring, OTT will unveil: a new optical nitrate sensor, the ECO-N; new ion-selective electrodes for the Hydrolab multiparameter sondes; and the HydroCycle-PO4 continuous phosphate monitor.

Groundwater, rivers and lakes across Europe often contain excessive levels of both phosphates and nitrates, resulting in conditions that promote the development of harmful algal blooms. OTT's latest monitoring technologies enable continuous monitoring which improves understanding of nutrient sources and loads, especially during episodic events such as storms and floods.

These new technologies will feature on the OTT stand and experts will be on hand to discuss visitors' applications in catchment monitoring, research and enforcement, as well as intake and final effluent monitoring.

A workshop on Continuous Nutrient Monitoring will be given by Adam Dutton, a USA-based expert from the OTT Hydromet group, at 3pm on Wednesday 21st November in Room 5.

Some of the OTT Hydromet group's latest weather sensors will also be on display, including the latest version of the OTT Pluvio2 raingauge, the new Lufft WS100 radar precipitation sensor and the new Lufft WS10 smart multiparameter weather sensor.
