Instrumentation specialist Cogent Environmental has chosen the WWEM 2010 event to launch a new advanced trace metals analyser that has been designed to provide highly accurate continuous monitoring in a low cost package that is ideal for both industrial and remote locations.

The new OVA7000 reduces monitoring costs and offers high levels of flexibility because it can be configured to meet customer requirements for both accuracy and speed.

Providing continuous unattended monitoring for a wide range of analytes (total As, Au, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Tl, U, Zn), the OVA7000 is suitable for applications including surface water, industrial wastewater and process water.

The analyser is ideal for remote sites because it can operate from DC power and offers both wired and wireless communications. A key feature of the instrument is the automatic pre-treatment that has been incorporated into the design to ensure accuracy and reliability.

The Cogent stand at WWEM (No 64) will also feature the ’OVA7000As’ which has been specifically designed for the measurement of Arsenic in drinking water and incorporates a novel Copper reduction system which ensures the highest levels of performance.
