Visually Inspect the Interior of a Storage Tank

Shand & Jurs Biogas, a leading manufacturer of quality digester gas safety equipment and waste gas burners, has introduced the 97187 View Port Inspection Cover.

Designed to provide the unhindered visual inspection of the inside of a digester and its contents, the 97187 maintains gas-tight integrity of the system. Configured with a glass window that is mounted between flanges with a quick release hood, the 97187 features a light weight, hinged cover that protects the glass.

Provided with the unit is a stainless steel wiper assembly with neoprene blades that facilitates the interior and exterior cleaning of the observation window from any condensation or debris. An optional interior window spray system is also available.

The 97187 View Port Inspection Cover comes in 8”, 10”, 12”, 16”, 20” and 24” sizes and has a maximum working pressure of 1 PSIG. Materials of construction for the body, stub and cover is Aluminum, Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel with a heavy duty glass observation window. Other sizes and materials of construction are available upon request.
