KROHNE’s SMARTPAT sensors with integrated transmitter are a family of 2-wire loop powered sensors. SMARTPAT significantly reduces failures in the measuring/control chain whilst revolutionarily easing the handling of sensors. Given an external transmitter with its installation, cabling and configuration is the main source of error by percentage, SMARTPAT being connected directly to the process control system providing direct communication via 4…20 mA/HART removes these issues.

KROHNE’s Opticheck verification service provides on-site electromagnetic verification without removing the meter from the pipeline. A verification certificate is issued confirming performance to <1% accuracy of factory calibration. This service extends the time between costly re-calibrations with less downtime and increased safety for both operators and plant.
