Oliver Grievson from Z-Tech Control Systems has been presented with the Outstanding Contribution Award at the WWEM Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring Conference and Exhibition. Marcus Pattison organiser of the WWEM event presented the award with Kriss Akabusi MBE to Oliver at the WWEM awards dinner stated “This is not a Lifetime achievement award as Oliver is far too young for that and he still has so much energy, drive and enthusiasm for the water industry which we hope to benefit from for many years to come. This award is for some of the achievements that he has been recognised for and for many more that have gone unrecognised or recorded!
"Oliver currently holds 5 Fellowships which include CIWEM,IES, InstMC, the IET and the IWA, he is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Water& Environmental Manager he is Chair of the IWA Digital Water Programme and Chair of SWIG, he is also Vice Chair of the CIWEM Professional Standards Committee and Vice Chair of Wastewater Education 501 (C)3, he is and has been a mentor to many water apprentices, an author, an editor, a facilitator and is the voice of industry disseminating news through his WIPAC Newsletter and hugely popular WIPAC LinkedIn group.
