In-Situ, Inc (USA) developed the Aqua TROLL 200 instrument to detect saltwater intrusion, to monitor ASR systems and impacts from deicing runoff, to collect data on coastal storm surges, and to conduct
tide gaging, remediation, and tracer studies. A rugged, 18 mm diameter titanium body houses conductivity, temperature, and water level/pressure sensors and is designed for extended deployments in brackish waters, saltwater, and other harsh environments.
The Aqua TROLL 200 instrument offers real-time monitoring via telemetry or SCADA integration with built-in Modbus/RS485, SDI-12, and 4-20 mA outputs. The instrument runs on external 8-36 VDC or internal batteries that are guaranteed for five years when reading every 15 minutes.
