AQUAMATE Asia wastewater and water quality monitoring exhibition in Asia

07 May, 2025

Part of a series of wastewater and water quality monitoring events organised by ILM Exhibitions, AQUAMATE Asia will bring together leading instrument manufacturers and suppliers of water quality and wastewater monitoring solutions to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a wide-ranging conference and exhibition being on 17th-19th November 2026.

As Asia faces mounting challenges in water resource management. With over 80% of wastewater in some countries discharged untreated, and freshwater ecosystems under threat from nutrient loading, pathogens, and heavy metals, the spotlight is firmly on water quality data and infrastructure. There are many national initiatives completed or underway, like China’s Beautiful China project and Vietnam’s updated Environment Protection Law.

This high-impact event will explore how governments, water utilities, and industries are using continuous online monitoring and field testing to tackle regulatory and operational challenges. In the conference, speakers will present case studies to ascertain the successes and failures of recent projects, highlight new technologies and regulations, providing attendees with plenty of ideas for their own organisations. Other sessions will address data standards, SDG 6.3 reporting, and smarter monitoring tools.

On the exhibition floor, visitors will find some of the sectors’ most advanced multiparameter sensors, automatic sampling systems, and analytics platforms designed for rivers, lakes, and industrial discharges.

Whether monitoring effluent, safeguarding municipal water sources or restoring polluted river stretches, this is an essential event for those tackling water pollution in the world’s most dynamic region.

Running in parrel to AQUAMATE Asia will be CEM Asia, the premier conference and exhibition  for Asia dedicated to  Air Emissions  and Air  Quality Monitoring, registered visitors will have free entry to both these two leading industry meetings.
