HACH LANGE (UK) is delighted to announce a new multi-million pound AMP5 Framework Agreement with Thames Water for a wide range of water and wastewater monitoring instrumentation.

The five-year contract non-exclusive was awarded to HACH LANGE following successful bids for 4 out of 5 instrumentation framework ‘lots’ which covered clean water turbidity, wastewater dissolved oxygen, sludge dry solids and influent/effluent quality monitoring.

Commenting on the award, HACH LANGE’s John Moroney said "We were delighted to be successful in all four lots because we were assessed against our competitors on issues such as quality, reliability, service and cost of ownership. This award reflects our market leading position and further extends the long-standing relationship that we have developed with Thames Water."

Instruments included within the agreement include the 1720e online turbidimeter, the Solitax SC for suspended solids, the LDO™ for dissolved oxygen and the UVAS plus for organic load (BOD and COD) measurements. The Nitratax immersion probe is included for the measurement of Nitrate and the NH4D for Ammonium. The SC1000 Controller, which interfaces with all of these instruments, is also included within the agreement.

As a result of this agreement HACH LANGE will continue to supply the majority of Thames Water’s requirements for analytical instruments.
