The Spectral-8 UV/Vis spectrometer is the latest addition to the Eijkelkamp Soil & Waterrange of soil and water sampling and analysis solutions. Spectral-8 is the solution for the real-time insitu monitoring of water quality in a wide variety of applications: from the cleanest spring water up to the dirtiest wastewater.

Spectral-8 is an insitu UV/Vis spectrometer. It uses full spectral analysis to measure organics (COD, BOD, TOC, UV254), nitrate, turbidity, suspended solids and many more, with a single device. Advanced algorithms provide accurate and reliable readings and eliminate interferences (such as turbidity). Using a unique calibration approach, we guarantee the best possible performance in each individual application. And if your parameter of interest is not on our list yet, please let us know: we prepare custom parameter calibrations for our customers.

Spectral-8 is user-friendly: being 100% optical it needs no reagents and offers real-time results directly from the process, with long term stability. In-situ installation is simple and requires no pre-treatment or sampling. Furthermore, it requires minimal maintenance thanks to its automatic cleaning feature. We provide tailormade solutions for the most difficult industrial matrices.

Eijkelkamp Soil & Water’s highly robust spectrometer, which can operate in temperatures ranging from 0 - 110 ËšC, is available in both stainless steel and titanium, for use in the harshest environments. ATEX class III certifications is a standard feature, which can be upgraded to ATEX class II. Spectral-8 offers full PLC functionality and support all industry standard communication protocols. Furthermore, it is fully integrated in the Eijkelkamp Web Portal for online visualisation of measurement results and integration with the operator’s other monitoring solutions.
