Widely used by water utilities, contractors and regulatory bodies, the MSFM is an area velocity flow meter that offers accurate flow measurement in sewers, industrial effluent discharges and open channels. The ultrasonic flow monitor has advanced features such as a debris shedding sensor, long-life Lithium-ion battery and an accessible architecture where all components can be removed in seconds. The unit is packaged on a compact, robust and corrosion resistant chassis.

Frequently employed in studies supporting integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC), Detectronic equipment is ideal for trade effluent discharge monitoring for Environment Agency compliance. Industries such as paper, brewing and food production are typical IPPC survey subjects. Flow survey contractors also commonly employ these instruments for whole catchment area hydrological surveys to model drainage performance.
