Measurement of chlorine residuals in the distribution network has traditionally been difficult. There are often issues with power supplies, obtaining data and also obtaining a sample.
ATi has developed a neat answer. The tried and tested , over 1000 installed in the UK, Q45H62 chlorine monitor is now available in a portable version. The monitor is housed in a shock proof, water proof carry case that allows you to install the monitor just about anywhere. It runs on 2 `C-cell` batteries, lifetime around 60 days, or any other DC power supply including solar. All water connections are included and the monitor is shipped ready to go with all the sensors pre polarised in the factory.
The monitor is designed for in network survey work and has several data output options. You can choose from 2 x 0-1V out puts to connect to telemetry, an on board data logger or a GSM modem link.
The PQ45 can be configured to measure chlorine, ozone or chlorine dioxide with an optional second parameter from pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen or ORP. Send an e-mail to [email protected] fro further information.
