AQULABO Group (France), under its brand SECOMAM, just launched two new spectrophotometers: Uviline 9300 and Uviline 9600.

9300 is the visible spectrophotometer, 9600 is the UV Visible one. These new products benefit from many innovations which make them the best ones of the Uviline range.

The first and the most important innovation is the reference beam.

These devices are not double beam spectrophotometers, but they do have a measuring beam and another beam called the reference beam. This second beam continuously measures the drift of the device and then allows it to correct automatically, which means more accuracy and less drift. Thanks to this reference beam, it is also no longer necessary to make a blank measurement every time an analysis is made.

Another improvement is the speed – the 9300 and 9600 are 2 times faster than the previous generation of Uviline spectrophotometers. The scanning speed of Uviline 9600 is more than 800 hundred nanometers per minute.

A new large colour screen has been implemented to make these devices easier to use and more ergonomic.

The optimisation of the management of the lamp is such that the lamps on the Uviline 9300 can last up to 4 years, and won’t need to be changed on the Uviline 9600.

5 measuring modes are available:  Absorbance/Transmittance, Spectrum, Concentration, Kinetic and Multiwavelength.

In the concentration mode both devices are preprogrammed with methods to measure more than 40 parameters. And now the multi wavelength mode has no limitations and is able to use any mathematical formulation and can also integrate additional variables.

Uviline 9300 and 9600 have a RJ45 port, and two USB ports to connect a USB key, a keyboard or a mouse.

The cell compartment of UviLine can receive a wide range of accessories. They are easily installed thanks to the locking system “Quick-Lock” and ensure optimum positioning of the cells.

There are 10mm cell holders, 16mm tube holders, universal cell holders (for cells from 1 to 100mm) and also automatic accessories (multicell, Sipper, thermostatically controlled cell holder etc.) that are entirely controlled by the software.
