AppliTek (Belgium) has the pleasure to announce the latest development in on-line analyser equipment, completing the existing analyser portfolio of the Belgian manufacturer. The system, baptised as EnviroLyzer®, not

only includes the expertise acquired from the existing range of highly specialised industrial analysers, but presents in its class a step forward in terms of maintenance, investment cost en data communication.

The new compact analyser is suited to be implemented in the on-line monitoring of waste water, cooling water, boiler feed water and surface waters. Customers can choose from a list of no less then 15 parameters a.o. nitrate, phosphate and even zinc, phenol and cyanide. Autonomy is the keyword of the EnviroLyzer®, assured by the incorporated industrial controller, and refers to sampling, autocalibration, auto-validation and auto-cleaning. Results are displayed both as numerical results as well as a graph in function of time.

Since 1985 AppliTek has built an enviable reputation in the advice, development and commissioning of on-line monitoring systems in several industries, relying on its experience in turnkey analyser projects. At this very moment the company is completing an analyser project in the industrial cities of Yanbu and Jubail, Saudi Arabia, where several monitoring stations built on customer’s specifications will assure 24/7 measurements on the waste water streams of the petrochemical companies on-site.

Hence the reference value for the Middle East market, according to AppliTek CEO David Laurier, we were very pleased to get the Saudi project awarded, but only after two years of negotiating the legal and technical terms with all the parties. Nevertheless, says Mr. Laurier, every project starts with the analysis, more specifically the measuring equipment, and this is exactly where AppliTek can make a difference by ongoing R&D.
