For its core business of Analytical Instrumentation Analytik Jena AG (Germany) has obtained a major contract for the supply of 22 instruments of the multi N/C series to analyse the water quality in the Chinese province Henan. The instruments are already due to be delivered during the current quarter.
"During the tender for this major project we succeeded against numerous large competitors. The quality of our products was convincing", said Torsten Olschewski, General Manager of the business unit Analytical Instrumentation at the Analytik Jena AG.
As part of the project "Automatic Monitoring Capacity Building Project of Surface Water Quality" the Chinese province Henan wants to increasingly engage with environmental analysis in the future. The Analytik Jena devices will in particular be used to analyse surface water. The technology company from Jena already implemented key projects in Henan in the past and, for example, supplied atomic absorption spectrometers of the contrAA and ZEEnit series to the region.
"In this region we benefit from our excellent market position and our distinguished reputation. With this contract our representative office in China performed an excellent job once again and continued the successful acquisition of major key projects", continued Olschewski.
The multi N/C series of Analytik Jena consists of a number of powerful analysers for the fully automated and simultaneous analysis of TOC, NPOC, POC, TC, TIC and TNb parameters in aqueous samples. It is, for example, used in the analysis of drinking water and sewage, water utilized for pharmaceutical purposes or cleaning validation, surface water through to the analysis of solids, e.g. for the TOC detection in soil or waste products.
