Analytik Jena has expanded its global coverage with the foundation of Analytik Jena Brasil Ltda., which officially opened for business on 1 August 2025. This new subsidiary is indicative of the company’s commitment to the Brazilian and wider Latin American market, facilitating closer engagement and cooperation with researchers, labs, and industrial partners.
By establishing a direct presence in Brazil, Analytik Jena will strengthen collaboration with customers, delivering faster response times, more tailored application support, and an improved service infrastructure. The subsidiary is headed up by Managing Director Julio Mattos, who emphasises the importance of contributing directly to Analytik Jena’s ambitious growth objectives in the region.
The company sees significant opportunities for its instrumentation in chemical analysis for oil and gas, wastewater monitoring, and industrial process control, alongside significant potential within food and agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and academic research. With over 500 instruments already installed in Brazil, the new subsidiary aims to accelerate scientific progress while fostering closer regional collaboration.
