Smart and Sustainable Environmental Sensors
Oct 07 2016
Lufft (Germany) now offer a range of weather sensors which were created with durability and stability as paramount. The units can be dismantled completely for calibrating and maintenance of individual sensors. The casing is made of tough anodised aluminium with stainless-steel mounting holders. WS3000, the first instrument in the new range, includes sensors for the measurement of temperature, relative humidity and air pressure, it also supports a one-point, two-point and multipoint calibration for each sensor. The innovative design, ensures that it achieves the best performance for decades.
The WS1000 series complies to the high-accurate requirements of monitoring in environmental applications. Additionally, the communication interfaces have been updated to incorporate a standard RS485 interface and it is equipped with a wi-fi interface which can be deactivated on request. A wi-fi interface allows the operator to view the sensor’s data and to simply configure it using a laptop, smart-phone or tablet. Users can receive the data via UMB-Binary, UMB-ASCII, SDI-12, MODBUS and NMEA protocol.
