New Barometric Pressure Sensor

The latest innovation from Felix Technology (Canada) is a Barometric Pressure Sensor FT5006 that combines high accuracy and low power over a wide range of pressures and temperatures.

The model FT5006.10 provides a calibrated 0-5 VDC analogue output. Analogue current consumption is less than 3mA. A special “sleep” mode further reduces current to about 1 μA. RS232 serial output is also available in the standard sensor.

The model FT5006-20 features a standard 4-20 mA analogue output. Two serial options, RS-232 and RS-485, are included in this model. The compact size of the barometer allows easy mounting in almost any standard instrument enclosure.

 A plug-in connector simplifies wiring. The weatherproof enclosure offers a convenient mounting location while the pressure port helps minimise dynamic pressure errors due to severe wind.
