DURAG (Germany) IS pleased to announce that the new dust monitor D-R 320 has been launched. The D-R 320 is based on the back scattering principle and allows high sensitivity measurement even at the lowest concentrations of dust. The D-R 320 does not require a light trap; It is equipped with a special optical system with a dual detector for background light compensation. The advantage of this new design is the quick and uncomplicated installation, requring no adjustment at the site.

Features: Certified measuring ranges 0 … 7.5 mg/m3, easy installation on a standard flange (DN100 or 4ʺ), easy start-up without any adjustment, automatic background light compensation, integrated purge air regulation and control, optional integrated fail safe shutter, automatic control functions, requires minimal maintenance, allows remote access, and is compliant with EN 15267 and US EPA PS-11.

The D-R 320 is ideally suited for monitoring smallest to medium dust concentrations, e.g: on waste incineration plants, on cement plants, and on power plants with gas, oil coal or co-firing.
