uvex’s (UK) new cleanroom (CR) range of safety goggles and spectacles is completely unique. The CR takes the concept of autoclavable safety eyewear to another level whilst giving outstanding protection to the eyes, thanks to its exclusive fog-resistant lens coating.

No other autoclavable safety eyewear on the market boasts this ground-breaking permanent anti-fog performance, which offers the clearest vision and makes the uvex CR ideal for specialist sterile requirements in areas such as laboratories, clinics, cleanrooms, medical, pharmaceutical, food industries and R&D, where absolute hygiene and controlled environmental contamination are critical.

Made in Germany to the very highest quality requirements and from allergenic materials making it free from harmful substances, the uvex CR range is specifically designed for repeated autoclave sterilisation. There is a choice of three models – the uvex super fit CR, ultra-light safety spectacles with incredibly thin wraparound lenses ensuring a wide field of vision, plus the uvex super f OTG CR over spec and ultrasonic CR goggles, whose high resolution and panoramic lenses allows them to be worn over prescription spectacles. Yet despite their high levels of comfort, design and functionality, uvex CR never sacrifices wearer protection.

Compatible with other items of PPE, such as surgical face masks, the lenses of the uvex CR are coated with uvex supravision, making them anti-fog on the inside and scratch resistant on the outside. uvex CR safety eyewear can be autoclaved up to ten times (20 minutes each cycle at 121°C) for cost-saving efficiency.
