Retsch (Germany), specialist manufacturers of laboratory equipment for size reduction and particle characterisation, have established a subsidiary in India. Retsch India Pvt. Ltd. is a Joint Venture with the previous distributor in India, Inkarp Pvt. Ltd., and operates out of their head office in Hyderabad. Under the guidance of Country Manager Mr. P.R.V.S. Varma, who looks at many years of experience in the analytical market, a team of 15 sales and service engineers with back office staff support their customers in all areas of industry, government institutions and analytical laboratories. With the implementation of their own sales organisation, Retsch emphasise the growing importance of the Indian market in which they have been present for many years. Through Retsch India customers now have direct access to the manufacturer and benefit from first hand information, dedicated factory trained product and service specialists, and an application centre with the latest Retsch equipment where customer samples are tested free of charge.

Retsch India has also taken over sales and distribution of Retsch Technology optical particle analysers, Eltra elemental analysers and Carbolite high-temperature furnaces and ovens in the Indian market. The companies Retsch, Retsch Technology, Eltra and Carbolite all belong to the Scientific Division of the German-Dutch Verder Group comprising a wide offering of laboratory and analytical products.

Retsch continue to expand their global coverage and have established another office in Bangkok which serves the Asia Pacific region. Director of Sales Peter E. In the spacious and fully equipped application centre samples are tested to determine the most suitable mill or sieve shaker for the customer’s application.
