New SPE cartridges improve productivity for pesticide analysis tenfold

24 Apr, 2025

Restek’s new Resprep FL + CarboPrep Plus SPE cartridges improve Florisil cleanup significantly, thereby boosting sample throughput for pesticides as much as tenfold. The dual-bed cartridge, which contains both Florisil and carbon layers, reduces instrument downtime by eradicating contaminants that deteriorate DDT and cause failures of inlet performance.

Thanks to its cleaner extracts, instrument downtime is reduced, data is more accurate, and lab productivity is increased. Resprep FL + CarboPrep Plus SPE cartridges seamlessly integrate into operational workflows, using the same solvents, volumes, and steps as Florisil cleanup procedures. This makes it simple to switch to an SPE that improves laboratory productivity considerably.
