PFAS SPE cartridges mitigate reruns and keep samples flowing

19 Mar, 2025

Restek’s Resprep PFAS SPE cartridges offer a streamlined solution for simplifying sample preparation in complex matrices, so they are particularly suited for high-throughput PFAS testing laboratories. By combining polymeric WAX and carbon sorbents in a single, factory-packed cartridge, these innovative SPE cartridges enhance workflow efficiency by reducing the need for multiple preparation steps. The WAX material used in the cartridges undergoes rigorous batch testing against the 40 PFAS compounds specified in EPA Method 1633, ensuring that method detection limits are reliably achieved. To further optimise performance, the ultra-clean CarboPrep Plus carbon bed delivers highly effective cleanup, removing interferences and enhancing the accuracy of the analysis. An optional integrated filter aid is also available, significantly reducing the risk of clogging. This minimises the need for time-consuming reruns and ensures more consistent and complete sample processing than manually packed glass wool.
