Matchbox Sized OEM Mass Flow Controller Modules for Gases

The new Axetris (Switzerland) mass flow controller modules MFC 2022 measure only 50 x 48 x 20 mm and are designed for the requirements of OEM customers. The modules are ideally suited for analytical instruments in the area of thermal analysis and gas chromatography etc., bioreactors and CO2 gas lasers.

The MFC 2022 modules have multi gas and multi range capabilities. The high accuracy and the fast reaction time of the MEMS based sensing element, allows a precise control of the gas flows, even then when disturbance variables are present (for example pressure pulses). The modules are available for Air, N2, O2, Ar, CO2, He, H2 and for flow rates from 20 up to 3000 sccm (full scale, Nitrogen equivalent). The high dynamic range allows the combination of various gases and flow ranges in one single unit. The modules offer digital (RS232 TTL level) and analog interfaces as a standard.

Labview base software tools enable an easy configuration of the mass flow controllers. The following settings can be made: Selection of gas and full-scale flow range, change of the reference conditions, filter and control parameter settings, customized scaling of the flow range etc.
