Aquatech Amsterdam will this year be held from September 30 up to and including October 3 at Amsterdam RAI. The event focuses on process, drinking and waste water technology, with an emphasis on water treatment, transport and storage, process control/ automation and point of use. The trade event presents the most influential market leaders and features a complete overview of the latest innovative technologies, new products and services as well as unmatched networking opportunities. The high level of interest is due to the fact that new developments are often shown for the first time at Aquatech.

With more than 800 exhibitors from 60 countries covering an area of some 45,000 metres, the Amsterdam edition of Aquatech is the largest specialised water exhibition in the world. “We share a common vision for clean water with our exhibitors and work closely with their offices worldwide,” explains Paddy Young, Domain Manager of the Aquatech domain. “Clean water is in everyone’s interest and our aim is to facilitate this on a global basis by partnering with the leading players worldwide.” By creating platforms for knowledge transfer, Aquatech helps disseminate expertise and enhance education. It offers people the chance to share experiences with reducing water consumption, treating industrial effluent and preventing contamination. The show attracts thousands of international water professionals.

The most innovative products currently on the market will come under the spotlight at the exhibition. The renowned Aquatech Innovation Award offers an unparalleled chance to learn about the latest state-of-the-art technologies, products, services and solutions. On average, exhibitors display more than 150 new products at the event and the workshops and seminars at the AquaStages offer ample opportunity for you to get updated.

Next to that, the IWA conferences provide excellent educational opportunities and the chance to join fellow professionals in the water industry to exchange know-how and expertise. IWA conference delegates will have free admission to the exhibition throughout the period of Aquatech Amsterdam 2008. More information can be found at www.aquatechtrade.com.
