New Managing Director at French Subsidiary for Major German Company

Analytik Jena AG (Germany) has gained a new top manager for its subsidiary in France with Michel Alric, previously Sales Manager EMEA at GE Water & Process Analytical Instruments. The new Managing Director, Alric, will head up and expand Analytik Jena AG's activities in neighboring France alongside Maik Schmidt, who is also Managing Director of Analytik Jena France S.A.R.L.

Before working at GE Water & Process Analytical Instruments, Alric spent a number of years at BRUKER Daltronique as Business Unit Manager France Benelux, where he was responsible for sales and service in those regions. Prior to that, he held a number of different sales management positions at Varian, Waters, and Millipore.

"In Michel Alric, we have been able to bring an experienced sales manager on board at the top of our French subsidiary. He will be a great addition to our team. With his extensive market and sales expertise, Michel Alric will advance the expansion of Analytik Jena's direct sales in France," said Torsten Olschewski, General Manager of the Analytical Instrumentation business unit at Analytik Jena AG.

Analytik Jena AG has been present with its own subsidiary in France, one of the most important European markets for laboratory, life science, and analytical technology, since 2013. It is strengthening its direct sales activities there, initially for its analytical measuring technology core segment. "Following the successful development work of the past few years, we have created the right conditions for expanding our business potential in this region," said Olschewski.
