The multilingual software WinASPECT PLUS for the spectrophotometers SPECORD PLUS series, from Analytik Jena (Germany), provides a comprehensive basic software and specific tools for individual applications. The basic software includes a data handling module for special evaluation of spectra and measurement results, a formula editor, tools for kinetic measurements, layer thickness, and colour values. Numerous preprogrammed methods for life science applications as well as methods for enzymatic determinations, quantitative water analyses, or brewery analyses are also part of the basic software. All methods can be started conveniently from a quick start menu. Further a macro programming module allows individual method development for automated measurement, evaluation, and documentation processes.

An automatic accessory recognition indicates inserted accessories. Instrument safety and quality of analysis can be checked using the device check program. The optional validation software and a user management guarantee GLP-compliant operation up to FDA 21 CFR Part 11 conformity.
