Setting the standard in oxygen sensors

Alphasense is proud to announce its newly redesigned LFO2 Oxygen Sensor, engineered to provide outstanding performance. This new long-life LFO2 sensor series not only underscores Alphasense’s commitment to innovation and quality but also introduces a fresh design that will set the benchmark for future sensor developments.

The LFO2 sensors represent a complete reimagining of Alphasense’s sensor technology, departing from previous designs to meet modern needs for precision and sustainability. With a newly refined appearance, these sensors showcase Alphasense’s continuous drive for innovation. The series includes three distinct models - LFO2-A1, LFO2-AL, and LFO2-AH - each tailored for specific applications, from measuring oxygen in high concentrations to detecting lower oxygen levels. These sensors provide the durability, accuracy, and reliability that Alphasense customers rely on, ensuring consistent performance anytime, anywher e.

“The new LFO2 series demonstrates Alphasense’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of sensor technology and delivering products that meet both quality and environmental standards,” said Ronan Baron, Technical Director at Alphasense. “We have redefined every aspect of our design and manufacturing process for these sensors to ensure that customers can trust their LFO2 sensor to perform accurately and consistently, from the first use to its final day. When customers open a tray of the new LFO2 sensors, they can count on the same performance and reliability that Alphasense is known for.”

The LFO2-A1 sensor directly replaces existing long-life amperometric oxygen sensors, such as the Alphasense LFO2-A4, and measures oxygen concentrations from 0-30%. With improved durability and design, the LFO2-A1 offers significant enhancements over its predecessor. The LFO2-AL, optimised for lower power consumption, measures oxygen levels from 0-95%. Finally, the LFO2-AH is designed to detect oxygen concentrations as low as 0-2%, maintaining the high precision expected from Alphasense products.

These long-life sensors reflect Alphasense’s commitment to developing environmentally responsible products without compromising on performance. Like all Alphasense offerings, the LFO2 sensors are crafted with a focus on durability and reliability - key qualities for today’s critical sensing applications.
