The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. Accreditation provides customers with a formal recognition of the competence, impartiality, performance and capability of a particular business.

UKAS currently accredits around 200 organisations in the Environment sector, and also assesses around 70 organisations to various Mcerts Schemes on behalf of the Environment Agency. For more information please visit UKAS at Mcerts on stand 44 or visit: www.ukas.com
