MRU’s Optimax provides fast, cost-effective and precise emissions analysis at biogas, bio-methane and landfill sites. This highly powerful and compact handheld instrument can measure up to 7 different gas components simultaneously, with internal storage for up to 32,000 measurements, with colour data records visualisation on display - and yet still boasts low cost of ownership. For biogas application the OPTIMA measures CH4, CO2, O2 and H2S, for exhaust gas measurements operators can monitor levels of O2, CO2, CO, NO and NO2. The OPTIMA can also carry out biogas pressure and stack pressure measurements.
The OPTIMA is extremely user-friendly, with easy data handling. It features a standard O2 measurement with long-life cell of approximately 4-5 years. It is housed in a slim line enclosure with secure rear-mounted magnets for drop-resistant operation. The data is displayed on a super bright, LED backlit, colour 4.0” TFT screen. MRU has also integrated a condensate separator with WATER STOP FILTER as well as internal flow monitoring and alarm. A biogas sampling line Ø3x2mm Viton with 5m length and stainless-steel instrument gas inlet port also comes as standard.
This sophisticated device also includes dual Bluetooth communication for the MRU4U ap on Android and Apple, IRDA interface for a high-speed infrared thermal printer, miniâ€ÂUSB interface for cable data transfer to PC, an SD card reader including activating software and a wallâ€Âplug, universal grid power supply 90â€Â240Vac / 50â€Â60Hz for battery charging over the USB port. This instrument can be operated via mains and battery, a high energy Liâ€ÂIon battery, enables 20 hours of mains-free operation.
