WTW (USA), a Xylem brand, has introduced the new P 700 IQ analyser for fast and reliable orthophosphate measurement at IFAT ENTSORGA 2012. The analyser is used with the WTW IQ SensorNet System and provides continuous monitoring of orthophosphate in wastewater applications.

The new P 700 IQ analyser uses the vanadate/molybdate (yellow method) measuring principle to perform rapid measurements of orthophosphate. The system has been designed for easy, efficient, continuous monitoring and control and minimises operational costs due to low reagent consumption. In addition, the analyser’s broad measuring range makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Customisation of the analyser’s automatic calibration function can be adjusted by the user in accordance with the requirements of their specific application. The P 700 IQ analyser can also be deployed in even the harshest environments to monitor effectively under temperature conditions below freezing.

The WTW P 700 IQ analyser connects directly to the WTW IQ SensorNet 2020 XT system and takes full advantage of all the unique features and benefits of the sensor network including flexibility, modularity and reliability, as well as the option to easily extend the system to measure additional parameters.
