Leading global water technology provider Xylem (UK) has been ranked 22 out of the top 200 Nottinghamshire companies for 2016, by the Nottingham Post, up seven places from last year.

The rankings are based on research from staff at the Industrial Economics and Finance Division of the Nottingham University Business School, which determines the largest firms in the region. The top 200 companies collectively contribute over £29 billion to the local economy and employ more than 200,000 people. To be eligible, companies must be active and have a registered office within Nottinghamshire.

Duncan Lewis, Managing Director at Xylem, says: “We’ve worked hard to improve our ranking over the last year and we’d like to thank everyone for their support. As a company we are dedicated to solving the world's most challenging water issues and Nottingham has been our hub for innovation.

“The top 200 list highlights the great work delivered by companies in the region that are really putting Nottingham on the map. It’s a celebration and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it. Congratulations to all the other companies who made it to the top 200 and here’s to another great year ahead.”
