WTW’s (Germany) FDO 700 IQ belongs to a new generation of optical D.O. sensors that eliminate the shortcomings of  former instruments. The membrane geometry has been optimised to avoid accumulations of air bubbles on the membrane surface which might give incorrect measurement results. The sensor therefore makes full practical use of the fundamental advantages of the optical D.O. measurement, e.g.: No incident flow needed, No calibration needed, H2S insensitive, High accuracy right from the start, Maximum stability over a long timespan, and Minimum maintenance effort.
