WTW (Germany), a Xylem brand, has a new relative in its IDS family of intelligent digital sensors. The VisoTurb 900-P is a handy, portable IR turbidity sensor operating at a wavelength of 860 nm and at 90° measurement angle according to ISO 7027 and DIN EN 27027 respectively.

The sensor works with the digital MultiLine portable meters and has a measuring range between 0 and 4000 FNU. The shaft is made from corrosion proof titanium.

Waterproof and pressure resistant up to 10 bars, the sensor is excellently suited for applications in surface water, ground water and pumping tests.

The plug head allows an easy connection to any AS/IDS cable available in 10 different lengths between 1.5 and 100 m and thus an easy adaption to any application.
