Quantifying trace levels of PFCs in samples unambiguously is challenging because of widespread background PFC contamination. PFCs can be analyzed in environmental water samples with confidence using Waters comprehensive system solution comprised of the ACQUITY UltraPerformance LC ® (UPLC®) with ACQUITY® TQ (tandem quadrupole) Detector, and ACQUITY PFC Analysis Kit which includes PFC Isolator column, analytical column, PFC standards, vials, and Oasis® HLB cartridges for SPE. The PFC Analysis Kit eliminates background PFC interference and enables accurate quantification. The system provides high sensitivity, detecting PFOA and PFOS at 0.5 ppt and 0.4 ppt respectively. Features like IntelliStart™ Software for optimizing MS parameters make the system easy-to-use for analysts of different experience levels, and QA monitoring is simplified with TargetLynx™ Application Manager Software, which automatically identifies samples that fall outside user-specified thresholds. Rapid UPLC run times increase sample throughput. Download the application note.
