To provide reliable and economic instrumentation for monitoring of surface and groundwater parameters UIT (Germany) has recently launched its new Compact data loggers with several different measuring cells.

This high quality data logger for monitoring the level, temperature and – optional – conductivity provides all components that are required to measure, store and transmit data.

These dataloggers include various options for data transmission, such as http, ftp, SMS to inform the user about alarms or any other excess of thresholds. Additional warning messages on status parameters like battery status are available, as well as remote diagnostic features.

This compact data logger unit measures only 45 mm in diameter and is therefore ideal for observation wells from 2" on. Great for under floor installations – thanks to reliably working antennas.

The lithium battery pack as well as the GPRS/GSM modem is integrated in that logger unit. For efficient maintenance batteries can be easily swapped, even in the field. 

Through an air compensating capillary for barometric pressure compensation a precise working pressure sensor for water level monitoring is used. However water quality monitoring based on an accurate conductivity measuring cell is also possible.

Finally a user friendly operation software (SENSOlog) that completes the system. This software provides various tools for configuration, reading and analysing data within one program.
