Solinst Canada Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Solinst Model 101 Water Level Meter. The Model 101B Water Level Meter is a cost effective option, with a basic yet durable design for depth to water level measurements.

The Model 101B Water Level Meter uses polyethylene flat tape that has accurate heat embossed markings in centimeter increments. Tape length options are 30, 60, and 100 meters. The tape is constructed with stainless steel conductors for strength and flexibility, also creating a dog-bone shape that reduces adherence to well casings. The tape is easy to repair and splice.

The Model 101B P1Probe is leak-proof, made from solid stainless steel, and is ½" (12.7 mm) in diameter. The ergonomic reel and handle make the tape easy to wind. Portability is excellent. A convenient brake is also included. The water-resistant electronics housed inside the reel hub are powered by one 9V replaceable battery.

When the probe contacts enter water the electrical circuit is completed, activating the light and clearly audible buzzer on the Water Level Meter faceplate. The water level is then determined by taking a reading directly from the tape. An optional carrying case and tape guide are available.
