Liquid & Gas Pumps Launched
Feb 28 2008
These pumps create their flow using a âbimorphâ â two parallel
piezoelectric wafers that expand and contract in line with the sine
wave on the supply voltage.
The Bimor is said to run on an exceedingly low current, emits virtually no electromagnetic field, no vibration, no noise, no fluctuations in flow and because there are no motors, shafts or other intricate mechanisms the Bimor is lighter, quieter and more durable than any other traditional pump on the market so customers can âfit and forgetâ.
The Bimor can be used in place of any traditional pump that has been required to pump air, gasses or liquids and depending on the model type can pump detergents, hydrochloric & sulphuric acids, alkalines and solvents â almost anything! The 230v Bimor pump typically runs at 14mA and offers 250ml/min of flow with a maximum outlet pressure of 350mbar, whilst the 100v version offers up to 660ml/min flow with the same outlet pressure.
