Call for papers on water quality and wastewater monitoring

07 Apr, 2026

Abstracts can now be submitted for AQUAMATE Asia 2026, taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 17-19 November 2026. With previous editions in Europe and India, AQUAMATE Asia 2026 is designed for professionals from a wide range of industries who are responsible for monitoring water quality and wastewater.

Submit your abstract here.

This conference aims to facilitate productive discussions on technical and regulatory issues in water quality and wastewater monitoring. As such, abstracts must deal with technical topics and keep commercial aspects to an absolute minimum.

If successful, oral presentations will be allocated a 15-20 minute slot and poster presentations will be allocated a space in the display area.

Topics:

  • AI and machine learning
  • Contaminants of emerging concern: PFAS, microplastics and micropollutants
  • Continuous effluent quality monitoring systems (CEQMS)
  • Current and future environmental regulation, policy and compliance
  • Data acquisition and data handling
  • Digitalisation and IoT
  • Flow monitoring and level measurement
  • Pesticide analysis
  • Smart water
  • River pollution monitoring and discharge
  • Water sensors for public health
  • Water epidemiology
  • Water monitoring networks

AQUAMATE Asia 2026 will be run alongside CEM Asia 2026, a conference and exhibition for water quality and wastewater monitoring. Abstracts for that show can be submitted here.

There are only a few stands left on the exhibition floor of AQUAMATE Asia 2026. Book today to avoid disappointment!
