Designed for domestic waste water treatment, units such as the Enviro, from Charles Austen Pumps (UK), provide a reliable, low cost aeration source in packaged sewage treatment plants.
The simple yet efficient pumping principle uses an electro magnetically operated diaphragm. This eliminates sliding parts, keeping wear and tear minimal and thereby ensuring exceptionally long service life. Enviro also incorporates energy efficient motors for low power consumption, meaning the cost of ownership is minimal. The robust design features a compact alloy casing which is weatherproof and does not degrade over time.
Due to demand for domestic waste water treatment units and septic tanks to incorporate a failsafe alarm, Charles Austen have extended their range of enviro linear air pumps to include the new enviro ETA series. These blowers have built in alarm systems which will detect low pressure in the airline. The alarm alerts the user via a loud buzzer and LED warning light. The ETA range is also available with a 230V output wire for external alarm systems.
A comprehensive range of models is available in steps from 30 l/min to 300 l/min and the range is both CE and UL approved. Typical installations include single dwellings, small developments, refurbishments, barn conversions or any property off mains drainage.
It’s not just blowers that Charles Austen Pumps stock - they also have a comprehensive range of tubing, fittings, and both fine and course bubble diffusers for the waste water market.
