Surge Ahead With Changes in Management Team

BioTector (Ireland) global manufacturer of online liquid analysers has recently announced the internal appointments of David Horan as Chief Executive Officer and of Martin Horan as Chairman. This will facilitate continuing growth worldwide.

David has worked with BioTector since 2006 and, in his previous position as Sales & Operations Director, has grown the company exponentially and was instrumental in the appointment of global distributors including Hach and Hach Lange.

“It’s a great time for BioTector.” said David “Sales are increasing year on year, our Distributors are seeing more success with BioTector analysers than ever and our international reputation is gaining momentum all the time. I’m delighted to be stepping into this role although Martin is a big act to follow. BioTector has been around for almost 20 years now and it’s an honour to be working towards the future with a strong team in place. ”

David succeeds Martin Horan who has moved into the position of Company Chairman. Having established and grown BioTector since 1995, Martin will now focus on Research & Development while continuing his work as company spokesperson within the Online Water Analysis industry. “With technology developed here in Ireland, BioTector analysers have proven themselves over the years to give greater process insights, energy optimisation, product loss prevention and treatment plant protection.” commented Martin “Our R&D experts work tirelessly to develop bespoke industry solutions and we’re planning a new product launch this summer so there’s lots to keep me busy while David continues the day-to-day running of BioTector.”
