The new AFRISO (Germany) pressure transducer HydroFox DMU 08 T is suitable for electronic, continuous level and temperature measurement of drinking water, groundwater, waste water (with optional FEP cable), diesel fuel and fuel oil. DMU 08 T converts the physical pressure of liquids in the pressure ranges of 0/100 mbar to 0/25 bar and temperatures of 0/30 °C to 0/70 °C into proportional, independent electrical 4-20 mA signals.

The special feature of the new level probe DMU 08 T is the ability to measure level and temperature with separate, independent signal amplification. The unit uses a piezo-resistive silicon measuring cell; the temperature is measured by means of an integrated Pt 100 sensor. Special calibration for all standard pressure units is possible. The DMU 8 T pressure transducer has a stainless steel 316 L housing and a PUR cable (IP 68) with air hose for reference to the ambient atmospheric pressure as well as an integrated overvoltage protection unit. The measuring instrument is supplied with DC 10-30 V; it is short circuit proof and protected against reverse polarity.

An adapted range of accessories such as cable glands, junction boxes with pressure relief port (IP 65), anchor clamps and weight extensions round off the offering. The new data logger with display DL 10 can visualise both measured values with a single display. The DMU 08 T transducer can be used, for example, in wells, drilling holes and for the monitoring of rain overflow facilities, rivers and waters, for drinking water treatment in tanks or waste water systems.
