The latest series of installations incorporate Achromatic’s design service & Achromatic Water’s Automatic Coagulation and Dosing control system. Each system is unique and tailored individually to suit each water

treatment plant process and raw water matrix.

The latest additions to the new Achromatic Mk II ICCS include the ability for multiple control of various process that impact on the treatment of the raw water. These include the ability to monitor & control incoming flows, control of dosed water pH pumps, main coagulant dosing pumps, and polymer dosing control. Additional options of DAF and 1st stage flocculation control are also available.

The latest system will optimise the coagulant dosing on the plant to ensure the minimum possible dose of coagulant is used to maintain good water quality. Typical reductions of 30% of chemical are not uncommon. In addition the system saves energy due to less filter backwashing required and improved flocc for sludge treatment. Cryptosporidium control and sustained improved water quality are the added benefits of Achromatic’s system. Additional capability includes the option of

chlorination dosing control and monitoring.
