Supplier of water testing equipment Palintest (UK) recently launched the new ChlordioX Plus to add to their existing range, testing for Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide and Chlorite. Using the company’s patented disposable electrical sensor technology and a unique sequential methodology, the platform offers analytical performance compared to DPD or Lissamine Green methods, while reducing the potential for user error. The new addition has already proved to be a success in the drinking water, produce washing and industrial hygiene applications.

The sensor technology range includes the SA1100 Scanning Analyser (Lead and Copper), ChloroSense (Chlorine) and ChlordioXense (Chlorine Dioxide). Designed for field analysis, the waterproof units are easy to carry to any monitoring site, and require no chemical reagents. Measurements are made using unique disposable electrodes designed and manufactured by Palintest. Sensors are specific, precise, accurate and stable. They bring a completely new approach to on-site chlorine measurement, providing on the spot measurement which is not dependent on operator technique.
