Since Dr Palin developed the DPD test for field analysis of chlorine in the 1950s, Palintest has continuously developed products to meet the needs of a variety of applications for water safety testing.

Their newest product, the Lumiso Chlorine Photometer, is used for rapid accurate analysis of chlorine across the 0-5mg/L range but also up to 250mg/L.  Although the Lumiso Chlorine kit is lightweight, the instrument is robust for use in the field and offers a simple and reliable method for testing drinking water and process water applications.

The Lumiso Chlorine kit contains a water-resistant box for storing reagents and convenient storage space for spare test tubes and check standards.  The photometer offers USB connectivity to enable data management and compliance with live date and time stamping and enough battery life to complete 10,000 tests.

For more information on this new development, as well as the rest of Palintest’s  wide range of water analysis technologies used across the world, speak to their team during WWEM 2021.
