CHEMetrics®: recently launched new test kits for monochloramine and nitrite utilising N-(1-naphthyl) ethylenediamine (NED) chemistry. They join the company’s long list of testing solutions for water and wastewater treaters.
CHEMetrics offer two methods for measuring ammonia levels in water, with ranges covering 0.5 ppm to 10,000 ppm. The Nessler reagent (mercury containing) provides test results in two minutes or less. CHEMetrics’ HBA reagent (hydroxybenzyl alcohol), meanwhile, is mercury-free and provides test results in six minutes or less with both visual and instrumental kit configurations.
For testing chemical oxygen demand (COD), CHEMetrics offers USEPA-accepted and mercury-free kits that deliver savings of 43% over competitor prices. CHEMetrics COD vials can be used with all spectrophotometers that accept 16 mm diameter round bottom cells. When used directly with Hach factory-programmed instrument calibrations, there is no need to modify procedures.
CHEMetrics is proud to offer reliable, accurate and affordable colorimetric water test kits that meet the highest quality control standards. With CHEMetrics systems, the analyst simply immerses the ampoule in the sample and snaps the tip to obtain fast, reliable results.
