Trace2o Ltd (UK), stand 20, are presenting a new instrument at Mercury 2013 - the HM4000 for soils analysis. The portable analytical instrument is a version of their popular Metalyser range and allows the analysis of mercury - along with other elements - in the soil sample. The instrument uses the technique of anodic stripping voltammetry, an electrochemical technique. A digestion process converts the soil into aqueous solution to allow the analysis to occur. A selection of Trace2o’s range of Metalyser instruments will be on display at the mercury conference. Please come along and discover them for yourselves.
