The new SWG100 Bio, from Eurotron Instruments (UK), is a purpose made fixed biogas analyser for continuous monitoring of 02%, CH4%, CO2%, H2S and additionally H2 and CO with in biogas applications

The analyser is equipped with a built-in cooler and peristaltic pump for automatic condensate removal, which is the main cause of any analyser’s failure. The active Peltier Gas Cooler is the only effective solution to protect the analyser from wet biogas. This advanced gas sampling conditioner is a unique feature of our SWG100.

The SWG100 can be configured with dual H2S sensors to accurately measure H2S from low ppm level up to 10,000 ppm. Up to 10 sampling points can be connected to the same analysers using a “smart” time sharing technique. Typical applications include measuring pre and post H2S treatment, measuring single and mixed line.

The unit provide up to 40 individually configurable 4-20 mA analogue output and 10 relay contacts which allow for one analyser only to control and protect more than one CHP’s Engine. Other communication includes standard MODBUS and optional profibus.

The SWG 100 Bio is ATEX compliant for installation in ZONE II.

Particular thoughts have been put to improve the on-site serviceability of the SWG100 to reduce the analyser service downtime and minimise its cost of ownership. The SWG100 features pre-calibrated field replaceable sensors which allow the user to simply replace a faulty sensor in less than 1 minute. All the wearing parts are easy to access and user replaceable with-in minutes. Onsite calibration allows the user to perform its own scheduled calibration routine. There is no need to send the analyser back for service or to wait for expensive engineer call-outs.
