N.E.T. offer a ready-made solution for gas detection manufacturers who wish to avoid the hassle and expense of developing a sensor or the necessary electronics and software for processing signals and compensation and linearization, designing a detection head or getting the product IP, ATEX/IECEx certifications. The NETC3 cyber heads are plug and play enclosures with integrated sensor and electronics which can be utilized as a gas detector, or part of a gas detection system.
The NETC3 cyber head consists of sensor, electronics and housing ready for immediate integration in gas detection projects or can be used as complete standalone field devices connected to a controller. Ease of Integration is simple thanks to industry-standard 4…20mA and RS485 Modbus outputs, fault and alarm contacts, and a 10-30 Vdc power supply.
The NETC3 is delivered configured and pre-calibrated for NET’s extensive detection range which includes:
For hazardous areas in need of certification, NET can provide ATEX or IECEx certified stainless steel flameproof Ex d enclosures with built-in stainless steel sinter filters to ensure safe entry into the environment being monitored (II 2G protection). Combustible dust and IP65 protection is possible by using an optional adapter (II 2GD protection). For non-hazardous areas, NET offers a cost-effective plastic enclosure (POM-C or PVC) with IP65 rating.
The enclosure is biodegradable while the sensor can simply be replaced at the end of its lifespan. This enclosure has an external thread at the front to enable quick and easy fitting of accessories and includes with three possible threads at the rear to cater for most detector housings. Full PC software and connection boards are available for calibration and alterations to the unit’s settings.
