Sentinel+ Addressable Technology is International Gas Detectors’ (IGD) exclusive digital gas detection system. Sentinel+ is the industry’s most advanced, most reliable, and fastest addressable system. The concept is simple. Power and communications are handled by a single 2-wire cable, with the ability to link detectors and accessories in series, massively reducing cabling requirements. You can even repurpose existing wiring to further reduce installation time and costs. This allows us to deliver better, more reliable results with just 2 wires, than the competition can with the standard 4-Wire solutions.
Sentinel+ powers all our fixed gas detectors and can even be integrated into existing 3rd party building management systems via relays, Modbus and BACnet. All our Sentinel+ Addressable solutions feature our GasNet™ remote monitoring functionality, offering complete control of your system from anywhere via a mobile, tablet or laptop. Perform cloud-based data acquisitions, receive SMS & email alerts for alarms and faults, and if necessary, perform remote system shutdowns.
Sentinel+ is made to scale. Our Control panels can interface with up to 350 external devices, and the massively reduced cabling requirements mean that one Sentinel+ Control Panel can cover any environment from a boiler room to a multi-level laboratory complex or medical facility. Thanks to our intuitive, polarity-independent 2-wire cables, bigger jobs mean even bigger savings.
This cutting-edge system is offered by IGD in modular, fully compatible setups so that any of our Safe Area gas detectors, Sampler gas detectors, and ATEX-rated gas detectors can be seamlessly integrated into one addressable system, monitoring for up to 700 distinct toxic, flammable and asphyxiant gases and vapours.
